GUEST POLICIES FOR OUR NEWFOUNDLAND COTTAGE FOR RENT

We have a strict cancellation policy which we must follow; you can learn about it on our bookings page.

In order to maintain our rental cottage in as clean and orderly state possible for other guests to enjoy, we ask that you follow these simple rules when staying with us:

• Strictly No Smoking inside the cottage. When smoking outside, please dispose of your butts in a receptacle, and don't throw them under our deck or in nearby grasses, as this presents a fire hazard.
• We do allow pets, but they are not allowed on the furniture, and you must thoroughly clean up any accidents inside the cottage, and poop and scoop outside
• Hydro in Newfoundland is expensive; please turn off lights and tv when leaving the cottage, and run the dishwasher and clothes washer only when they are full
• We have laundry facilities available, but you must supply your own soap, etc.
• We have cleaning supplies available for you to keep the cottage tidy during your visit
• At departure, we would ask you to tidy up after yourselves. Please put any garbage in the bags provided, and leave them in the blue wooden garbage box outside. Please do any dirty dishes and empty the refrigerator of your belongings. You may leave the sheets on the beds, we will handle this for you.
• Basically, all we ask is that you treat our home as if it were your own, and leave it as you found it!

DAMAGE POLICY

Please leave the belongings of the cottage at the cottage when you leave! We cannot afford to replace towels, books and CD's that walk off with our guests. The replacement value of missing items or things that are broken or damaged by our guests will be debited against your credit card. Please! If you have accidentally damaged something during your stay, let us know right away, and we will work it out with you. We are reasonable people, accidents happen, and no one is going to get excited by the odd broken piece of crockery. But common sense says, if you break or damage something valuable, we expect you to pay for it.
