BOOK OUR NEWFOUNDLAND COTTAGE FOR RENT

A Visa or Mastercard number is required to book the cottage. All clients must sign a rental contract upon arrival and leave a signed credit card chit for security regarding damages. After checkout, if the cottage is found tidy and undamaged, the credit card chit will be destroyed.

Check-in time is 2 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. You can pick up and return the key to the Beyond Baccalieu shop in the centre of town.

To book with us, please email us at whales@beyondbaccalieu.com giving us the dates you would like to visit, and your contact information. We will then be in touch to let you know the availability of the cottage and to finalize your booking.

Cancellation Policy

Given the short season and the demand for our cottage, we must unfortunately follow a strict cancellation policy.

When booking, we will debit a one night charge of $110 + HST to your credit card to hold your reservation for you. We will credit your deposit to you if you cancel your reservation up to 14 days before your arrival date. If you cancel within 7 days of your reservation, we will charge you an additional amount on your credit card, that when added to the original $110 debited, will equal 50% of the cost of your entire booking (+ HST). If you cancel within 3 days of your reservation, or do not show up at all, we will charge you 100% of your booking on your credit card.

Our policy is strictly followed, so please consider this carefully when booking, and contact us immediately if you have to cancel your reservation for any reason. We would be grateful if you do not wait until the last minute to let us know of your change in plans. We have a short summer, and as our cottage tends to book by the week, we need adequate time to rebook other clients should you have to cancel.
